Well the winds of yesterday were replaced with driving rain and falling temps. NOTE: rain and hairspray do NOT mix! Our girls played 2 awesome games today and were just starting the Championship game when lightening struck and the refs decided to finish things quickly by having a penalty kick shootout. Unfortunately this method is more luck than skill and we lost 2-0. They had gone undefeated all weekend and had beaten the same team earlier in the day 4-1 so our girls were pretty discouraged. It wasn't the best way to end a weekend but here is what I took away from it; Dorothy had the right idea when she said, "There's no place like Home!"
