Trapped in Wichita!

Help! I am trapped in Wichita, Kansas being drug to one soccer game after another, enduring hurricane force winds (I swear I saw a tumbleweed go by) and being forced to eat the most fattening of foods! I feel more like a contestant on Survivor than a parent enjoying my children. The good news is, we are required to be in our rooms by 8:00pm. in order to be ready for the 7:30am game tomorrow. AHH, a warm bed! Sleep! I am too old for this.......Please Monday, come and rescue me, the weekend is trying to kill me!!!

Praying you'll have a good nights rest. It's 27 degrees here right now with blowing snow..brrr chilly! My son has to be at the church tomorrow morning for 7:30am to do 'sound' for both services, so we'll be up early here too. Hang on. Monday's coming!

OH, you poor thing! I'm not far, I'll leave now & be there in a few hours!! :)
Isn't it funny that the older we get, those 8pm bedtimes don't look so bad! Used to be that we'd beg for the weekends to come, now we just want a normal weekday!
Good luck to the kids.
Enjoy! :)

I feel your pain. I have sat through many a driving rain and wind storm while watching football. But spring soccer...hey, it's not even spring yet! Stay warm!

Oh, so CLOSE, we MUST plan a trip to meet one another and yes, Lelia, you too!

Would Wichita be 1/2 way for all of us? It ia tight 3 1/2 hour drive for me from home.

Blessings and love this Sunday morning! Lord, we need rain. And Your Reign! Amen.

HA!! That sounds like a day in the SOUTH! (Eating the fattening foods I mean) My friend Joni makes fun of me because I cook everything in BUTTER! Seriously, donuts fried in BUTTER are DIVINE! (I mean simply taking those yummy, sweet, glazed donuts that you can buy at your grocery store and then cooking them like a grilled cheese! Oh my! I think I just gained 2 pounds just thinking about it. HA!)

I hope you survive your weekend... LOL

That is so funny and again reminds me of my house. I am glad you stopped by my blog and am enjoying reading yours. I ended up in Hawaii because my husband is in the Army, but you never know if we will someday be in Kansas. I love Hawaii but it is very expensive and with a lot of kids to feed it is not very cost effective here. We did live in Oklahoma for a long time and it was much easier in this area. I actually loved Ok. and would go back in a heartbeat. I am a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.
