Two shopping outings this week.......
Me- 1 pair jeans, 1 pair capris, 4 tops = $82.00
15 yr. old Daughter- 1 pair teeny weeny denim shorts=$32.00
Whenever I think about being at the She Speaks conference in North Carolina, only two short weeks from now, I get really nervous. And to calm my nerves I go shopping. This week God led me to some great deals, however I think my daughter needs a little more guidance, lol.
Anyway, I do know that all I truly need is God and I love this song because it reminds me that if I never bought another thing He is More Than Enough........

I think my daughter is the same way. A little more guidance in the deal area. I guess because things are so much more expensive now a days is the reason $32. shorts are a good deal.

Kelley-I am praying God opens your mind to what you need to accomplish before the conference. I still haven't decided on what I am wearing...I am sure I will be all wrong...I usually am at these things...I blame my surrent weigth gain. I so look like my mother these days. Since you designed my blog..can you now design my wardrobe for this event (LOL). Just kidding!! I have 4 teenagers...can you believe the prices of their clothes?!?!? AUGHHH!

Ah don't I know the feeling! I can shop so much better than my oldest. My youngest one is the easiest to shop for though.
Hey Kelley...I went shopping yesterday too! I purchased a pair of capris, two tops, a jacket, a skirt, a sweater and a new purse...you don't want to know my bill! I got good deals, but not as good as yours.
On the other hand, I purchased my son a couple of really nice golf shirts - 2 for $20.00. I hadn't been shopping in a LONG time, so it was fun.
God is more than enough. I tried to post a video on my other blog (Pondering in His Presence)today, but had trouble transfering the code - finally had to just add it as a link. Check out my song if you have time.

Hey Kelley-- I just bought a black and white polka dotted top very similar to the one in your picture. I am planning to wear it at She Speaks on Sunday. Should we wear ours the same day and be twins?? It would make a cute photo! :)
Cute clothes-- I have been doing a bit of shopping to prepare for She Speaks myself!! (I just had a birthday so I had a bit of money/gift cards to spend-- fun!)
Must be the shopping time. I got a blouse and "spring sweater" for She Speaks too! And some cute PJs. I can't wait to go and I'm really excited.
