She Speaks, She Returns, She Recovers...

I have so much to process from the weekend I don't even know where to begin!

There were times I was set on fire and felt ready to take on the world, and other times I felt so small and out of my league, my thoughts became "What am I doing here? I don't belong!"

There is much to share and I am anxious to tell you all about it but right now I am trying to avoid mental indigestion and give my brain time to process it all.

I can tell you that the girls out there in blogland really do exist and meeting them in person is like spending time with an old friend! It's funny how people you may never have spoken to personally can feel like sisters so quickly!! And there is nothing like spending a weekend with a bunch of sisters!

Today I plan to spend some time recovering from a flight that ran 2 hours late (I didn't get home and in bed until 2:00am), blisters on my feet..

and the fact that while Mom's away Satan has a field day back at the ranch!

If you think of it, I could use prayer for my "prodigal daughter" who seems unable to stay off of the path that leads to trouble. No, this is not exactly what I wanted to come home to but this is where God has placed me so I have no choice but to "roll up my sleeves and parent this child...."

By the way, why was it God created teenagers????

That is amazing that you got to meet so many of your blogging buddies for the first time....It probably felt like meeting celebrities....very exciting! I can't wait to hear all about your weekend.

Rest well!
God Bless,
Amy:)

P.S. I believe God did create teenagers, but for the life of me "sometimes" I can't figure out why?;)

Ok... so how did you get blisters. You were supposed to wear "cute, comfortable" shoes. I can't wait to hear about your ride to the airport. I'm sorry you came home to teenage trouble. Praying for you. Loved the slide show.

Kelley,
I'm sending your book out tomorrow! Shouldn't take but a couple days to get to you. I pray it blesses you. It was an awesome time, eh? Yes, I'm still processing too. Time to get back to laundry and floors and the day job...I'll be praying for you and all the other P31 ladies as we come down from the mountain!

Kelly,
It was so good to see you over the weekend. You girlfriend, get cuter by the day :-)
I want to hear all about your talk on Saturday night.
It was such a blessing to watch you and Carol"polish" those last few things.
I want to hear all about your trip to the Mall and your ride to the airport.

Enjoy recovering from the weekend and restoring order to your home.

I want to know why God gives us teenagers while we're experiencing hot flashes and our husbands have a mid-life crisis.

Hugs to all my KS sistas,
Zoe

Pamela, Kelley, Lelia and Joy: Girlfriends, you are gorgeous!

Jesus loves you so much!

Thanks for sharing Kelley, and satan sure roars when we are making progress for God. Perhaps a reminder as you "minister" parenting skills towards your Prodigal. ;0)

Love,
Yolanda

Welcome back, Kelley! Sounds like a great time was had by all. I've enjoyed reading about it so far and look forward to hearing more. Re: teen daughters - ours was abducted by aliens when she hit her teen years but God (eventually) graciously morphed her back into the sweet girl she is today.

Hang in there. No doubt God knew you'd need a little extra support and preparation for this "exercise" with your prodigal, thus the timing. Plus, we all know Satan loves to pounce when we're on the spiritual mountaintop. Praying for you.

It blesses my heart so to see the photos of all you lovelies. I can't imagine how exciting it must have been to meet all your bloggin' buddies. = ) (Sorry about those blisters!)

Kelly, what a treat it was to meet you! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I've enjoyed visiting yours!

You crack me up!! It seems we have more in common than being "bible beaters." I have more fun on vacation in my mind than I do being there!

Be blessed!
