Homecoming and TSMS

Do ya know how time flies by and suddenly you realize it has been 2 months since you've seen your daughter?

Her school is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from us but between the other kids' weekend activities and her work schedule we haven't managed to see each other since Easter. What a wonderful surprise to see her walk in the door Thursday night!

And check out the little friend she brought with her:Unfortunately she is working this summer so she can only stay until tomorrow afternoon but we will take what we can get! Needless to say it is busy at our house this weekend!

Now for my TSMS post~~

There are times when life just doesn't make sense and all we can do is pray for the arms of Jesus to hold us and get us through.

I am praying this especially for the Chapman family right now as they face the nightmare that has come upon them.

Hold them and hold us Jesus, because this life is hard and we can't do it alone...

I encourage you to visit Amy at Signs, Miracles and Wonders to hear more encouragement for the Soul today!

Enjoy this holiday weekend!

Have some wonderful family time this weekend. I know, in light of the recent reminders of the uncertainty and brevity of life, you will cherish each precious moment.
Hugs to you today,
Joy

Thank you for that beautiful song. This week was a rough one. It is awesome to know that we have a Prince of Peace we can run to.

This is such a beautiful song. I've found this week, that I'm hugging my girls just one more time, all day long. I'm so glad our Abba's arms are always ready for one more hug!

Have a blessed visit with your sweet girl!

Hey Kelly,

Oh, what a precious picture of your BEAUTIFUL daughter!! So glad you got to see her, even if it's for a short time.

I started to do a song in honor of the Chapman family myself.

My heart is still so heavy just thinking about the whole event. This could of happened to "any" of us...

I'm praying for them daily.

Hope you guys have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend, (if I don't stop back before then!)

Love you♥

What a great surprise! I remember when my niece was at college just 1 1/2 hours away and working. It was such a treat when she came home! Love the song also!

Oh, how exciting to have your daughter home, even if just for a little while! I cannot imagine those days yet...need to be eating my girls up now while they are here with me!

And this was such a great song for this weekend. We all need to be held by Him. We all need to know we are safe in His arms! My heart joins with yours in prayer for the Chapman family.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Love and blessings,
Kimberly

Glad to hear you get to enjoy your daughter for a short time. What a beautiful girl she is. Is the puppy yours?

I never heard this song before and I liked it, very pretty.

So sad for the Chapman family. How tragic this is. I pray for their family every day.
