That's My Man!

I love my husband!

He is a wonderful man!

He works hard to provide a full and happy life for me and the kids.

For instance today.....

After going for a run and then taking the dog on a walk to the park, I spent 2 hours at the pool with the little ones. I may not have gotten a lot of cleaning done but it was a fun day.

When we got home from the pool I took one of the girls with me to the super market where we loaded up on groceries. We were about halfway done putting them away when my sweet hubby called to say, "Remember, we are having the soccer team meeting at our house in a half hour."

Chaos ensued as we tried desperately to sweep, straighten and clean the house for company.

People arrived, I smiled and my husband explained the details of the upcoming soccer season.

As people were leaving I tried to help them brush the dog hair off of their clothes.

Finally my husband turned to me and said the words every wife longs to hear from the man she loves, "What shall I make you for dinner?"

Wow, How sweet. You have a loving husband. You are very blessed indeed. I've had similar experiences with sudden company. With us it's cat hair. My drop-ins are usually Mennonite families, who have spotless homes and perfect children. I've been embarrassed to tears before. Hugs, Kathi PS Once, we were watching a family movie like Star Wars, when we heard Christmas caroling. My husband stopped the movie and invited them in for hot chocolate. They have 9 children. It was nice visiting, but the mood was not quite right.

What a blessing!! I couldn't believe my eyes last night when my husband went out the door to take my class at VBS so that I could stay home for my home Bible study class. It was a great treat for me... and he made lots of brownie points with the ladies in my group!! LOL!

Wow! What a sweet hubby! You are blessed indeed. My hubby doesn't do much cooking, but he's always quick to clear the table, put away the leftovers and help me get the kitchen cleaned up...which I LOVE! ; )
