Oh where have I been all week?
I wish I could say I was on vacation in the tropics, or locked in a cabin writing a book, or even on spiritual retreat in a monastery somewhere. But unfortunately I have whittled away the past week getting very little accomplished and crying over just about everything. I don't know if it is PMS or peri-menopause but whatever the case, I am ready to get off of this emotional rollercoaster!
My CBS bible study had our last regular class meetings this week. I am always so sad when we break for the summer. The other ladies joke about having to escort me to my car on the last day because I refuse to leave on my own.
As our opening on Wednesday morning the children performed the songs and bible verses they had learned this year. There weren't many dry eyes in the place as all these precious people sang, "He wraps himself in light, and darkness tries to hide; it trembles at his voice.....How Great is Our God....." And after having had a rough start to the morning (he didn't like the shirt I picked out) Quin cooperated and sang beautifully!!!

Mom and Quin together are really cute well because he is your son. I always love you both and you always make me smile. I know that Quin can be a push over ever once and a while i still love him. I think you know what i am saying a ten year old girl saying that there little brother is a push over, but you have to it might that he can be. I wish that i could have been there to have seen Quin sing, but know matter what i think that he still did good. I love this picture of you and Quin and you are both mother and brother that i will ever as for you are both the very best and every one else in the family almost all the time Lilly.
Hi Kelley,
I'm riding on the emotional rollercoaster with you! It's a rough ride some days.:)Tomorrow my post is about the woman with the issue of blood (for twelve years),I cannot even begin to imagine her pain. When you read about her, it helps give (some)perspective, but it's still a tough ride.
Very sweet picture by the way!
God Bless,
Amy:)
I know where you've been...you've been busy encouraging others...so thankful I was one of those 'others'!
Adorable picture!!! Our Bible study "officially" ends on May 6th and it is a sad day.
Praying tomorrow will be a better day,
Love,
Joy
Great picture! So cute!
You two look too cute! I'm with you on the emotional thing, and I'm sorry to report I just got back in line today to ride again!
I personally think for me, its a form of low level anxiety! The gas, groceries, job unsecruity, and too many bills is just causing me to stumble along!
Hopefully, things will stable and I will become more steady!

We too finished our large group up last night prior to September. The one big blessing is that many of us are caravaning on to Colorado Springs next weekend for LPM. Please pray for our safety and our hearts to be opened to receive His word for each one of us.
Lovingly,
Yolanda
You look beautiful with your boy! Hope the weekend brings less tears and more love!
Kelley with a Y -- I don't know how I haven't managed to make my way to your blog before. It seems like we frequent many of the same bloggy watering holes. So I'll just leave this comment as an official "hello" and say I love your site. Your children are adorable, I totally relate to the despair of Bible study being over for the summer, and that chocolate cake had me drooling on my keyboard. I haven't read my Midwest Living this month. Must do so today.
Sounds like a great day!!! Glad to hear it!!

Oh you sweet girl! I have been on that roller coaster for a few weeks since we found out my father in law has cancer. I have started 3 blog posts only not to finish a single one.
Quin is such a handsome boy. Prayers for you dear Siesta!

Ahhh. He's soo cute. And he looks like you Kelley!
I had one of those emotional roller-coasters recently too. Not fun when it feels like your emotions have a mind of their own.
