Then Sings My Soul---GONE!

I LOVE the message in this song! It doesn't matter what it is that we try to hold on to, one day soon it will be GONE. Money, possessions, youth, talent, relationships, jobs, accolades, will all be GONE and the day will come when:

"each man's work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward." 1 Corinthians 3:13-14

Lord, I pray that what I do in this life will survive the flames of testing and when I am GONE, my life will have been about You and bringing glory to Your holy name!

Good Morning Kelley,
Thanks for encouraging me bright and early to make the most of every moment today. I was thinking of lyrics to the song that says, "I want to leave a legacy, how will they remember me?"
Living for God in each moment today, before it's GONE!
Love & prayers,

I'm with you, I hope I choose things that when I get to heaven I can see the results of!

Have a great weekend! Send me email and let me know what is happening with the She Speaks.

Kelley - I so agree. Whenever I think about being accountable for everything I have done, it overwhelms me. I feel so unworthy.

Praise God for His grace!

I hope you're having a wonderful weekend. It's going to be beautiful!

Take care,

It's always eye-opening to look at our lives and wonder what we are doing now that will stand up then. Thanks for the reminder to drop some things and pick up better ones!

I was half tempted to post under "anonymous" but decided that just wouldn't be right. When I first came across your blog earlier today I have to confess it was one that made me jealous. Then I'm reminded that what we "see" isn't the whole story.

Your words today about never knowing when you might lose something happen to be the story of my life right now. I am asking the Lord to use this time of refining for His glory, that it won't be wasted and that many (including myself) will be changed because of it.

Forgive me for for being "jealous".

Love the song and I love the picture it starts out with. I am having such a blast finding songs I have never heard before and songs that I've heard but have never seen song clips of before.

Our worship pastor talked about this very thing this morning. How our earthly stuff in the end means nothing. It's all about what we've done for the Lord and the souls that we won for Him. That's what counts.

I love this song! Thanks for sharing it. It reminds me to store up for myself treasures in heaven and not here on earth because they are the only thing that will last.
