Let the Games Begin......

Tag....It seems that I am "it".

Not once, but twice this week I have been tagged. I love a good game so why not play online...

First of all here are the rules:
1) Link to the person who tagged you (that would be Susan and Rebecca)
2) Post the rules on your blog (copy and paste 1-6)
3) Write 6 random things about yourself (see below)
4) Tag 6 people at the end of your post and link to them
5) Let each person know they have been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.
6) Let the tagger know when your entry is up

Now for my 6 random facts:

1) Quin and I were "almost" in a magazine ad when he was a baby. A local modeling agency called and said Walmart had chosen us to come and be photographed for a diaper ad. Unfortunately Quin didn't cooperate very well and kept crawling off. They paid us for our time but decided to go with the "alternate model" and her "cooperative" baby girl.

2) I like almost all foods and beverages except Pizza and Iced Tea. YUCK!!

3) Shortly after I got married I taught myself to sew. I made all kinds of clothing and projects but my favorite things to create were costumes. Our family became known as "The Halloween Family". I would still sew if I could locate my sewing machine under the piles of junk in the basement.

4) I am a recovering Fantasy Football addict. I drafted a team one year and became obsessed with the game. For three years I knew every player on every team and I was respected as the only female in the league! But when my husband's team beat mine (by 1 point) I refused to speak to him; and when we shushed the kids because we couldn't hear the "up to the minute highlights" on the radio I figured it was time to hang it up. However, I still get a thrill when that highlight music plays. LOL

5) I am terrified of snakes! Even thinking about them creeps me out much less seeing one on TV or in a movie, or heaven forbid if I were to ever run across one in person!!! YIKES!

6) I would never have thought of myself as a computer person and yet here I am writing a blog and redesigning blogs for others. In fact both of the women who tagged me have asked me to work on their designs!

Wow, that was hard. I didn't realize how uninteresting I am!

So hmmmm, now who to tag? So many of you have already been tagged and I don't want to put undue pressure on anyone. How about this: If you have not yet been tagged and participated in this game, you are now it.......

Kelley...I was tagged by two different people too! I had my son write out 6 random things about me - what a guy!

Love the new blog you did for Susan! Fabulous once again. What a talent you have. Thanks for sharing it so willingly with others.

Have a wonderful day my friend,
Love & prayers,
Joy

You're not "uninteresting".

I too am terrified of snakes. I don't like the fake rubber ones eve. I can't watch them on tv. One time at a zoo, I made my husband go into this glass exhibit of snakes. I went in, saw them everywhere and told him I'm graciously wait outside for him. I didn't want to steal his fun but no way was I ready to die of my heart attack. I have always joked that I seriously think I'd die of a heart attack if I ever encounter one, particularly of any significant size.

And I'm told God created all creatures for a reason and snakes are good for eating mice and spiders. No thank you, I'll take the mice and spiders.
Blessings,
Paula

How fun to read your 6 things!

Guess it's a good thing that modeling job didn't work out...otherwise, you might be even more famous and we wouldn't have you here in blogland!

I'm totally with you on the snake thing. We saw one a few weeks back in our mulch bed and I'm still paranoid everytime I'm outside!

Wow, you don't like Pizza and Iced Tea? (Probably a blessing in disguise! Pizza is not usually low-fat and GOOD sweet tea is definitely not low-fat...)

Holy cow, and you can sew, too!?! Sounds like when the kids are grown, and you can get to your machine again, it will be a fun pastime to resume. (You'll have the best dressed grandkids in town!)

Incidentally, though I'm not quite ready yet, but sometime this fall, I want have you redo my blog, too! I LOVE the pages you've designed!

Blessings,
Tracy

P.S. I was recently tagged, too and have 6 random things up on my blog! Stop by when you have a chance!

I had to laugh at the fantasy football one. I would be the same way, if hubby ever beat me I would definitely be seeing red. Maybe that's why I don't play fantasy football but my son does. There is going to be enough drama in this house when the Steelers play the Cowboys in Dec.

You don't like pizza? I thought everyone liked pizza? I don't care for iced tea either so I totally get that one.

I can't sew but wish I could, that's another story.

I am glad you blog even though you are not a computer person because I totally enjoy your blog.

You are very interesting, Kelley!
You are well suited doing the jobs that God has called you to do.

Iced tea? Really? I just had my son pour me a glass.

I definitely prefer my snakes in a cage behind glass, or on television.

Congratulations on getting to give some other blogs a face lift. I can't wait to see them.

God Bless,
Amy:)

You handled this saturated tag deal better than me I think. I sent eveyone back to the three that tagged me but the traffic has been slow. You always have something fun to share about your family-it's a joy to read!

I loved tag as a child...running from the tagger to safety. Seems like we're all in the game these days. I've answered the question a few times on others blogs, so I will attempt to do it yet again (as if anyone really cares...)

1. bubble baths
2. fried okra
3. diet coke
4. Tyler Perry movies (aka...Madea)
5. Mountains
6. Hallmark Christmas movies except "Meet the Santas" (I hate that movie!).

and as an added bonus...

I adore you for leaving a comment on Nick's reflection. He's my heart, so from one mother to another...THANKS!

Funny...I was tagged but had to do 7 things (which I just finished a few minutes ago before I started reading my favorite blogs). I even have a mention of iced tea in mine too (although I have to say if it's sweet tea you're talking about, I don't like it either. Straight-up for me, please!).

My seven things are a little long and rambly so I won't put them all here, but feel free to stop by and see my randomness.

Since I am a transplant to the South, I haven't been able to do the Iced Tea thing either, but pizza...I am so sad for you..:)
Have enjoyed popping by, and "seeing" your sweet heart.

You are far from uninteresting my dear friend! Will you sew me a blouse? That way Cece can see me in something different in the next picture we take together! :)
Love ya,
